Sometimes the stream might stop playing, and there could be a few reasons why. Here are some tips to help you sort it out:
- Switch to Mobile Data Temporarily
Turn off Wi-Fi and use mobile data to check if the streaming issue persists. If the stream stabilizes, the problem may be with your Wi-Fi connection. - Check Your Device’s OS Version
- iOS: Go to Settings › General › Software Update and ensure you have the latest iOS version.
- Android: Go to Settings › System › System Update (or About Phone › Software Update) and confirm you're running the latest Android version.
- Update the LiSTNR App
Ensure that you have the latest version of the LiSTNR app installed. Updates often include bug fixes and performance improvements.- iOS: App Store › Your Profile › Update LiSTNR (if available)
- Android: Google Play Store › My Apps & Games › Update LiSTNR (if available)
Additional Steps for iOS:
- Turn Off Low Data Mode: Go to Settings › Mobile Data › LiSTNR, then disable Low Data Mode.
- Turn Off Low Power Mode: Go to Settings › Battery and toggle Low Power Mode to Off.
- Enable Background App Refresh: Go to Settings › General › Background App Refresh, then toggle LiSTNR to On.
Additional Steps for Android:
- Clear App Cache: Go to Settings › Apps › LiSTNR › Storage › Clear Cache.
- Adjust Battery Optimization Settings:
- Go to Settings › Battery and device care › Battery › Background usage limits › Never sleeping apps, then add LiSTNR.
- Go to Settings › Apps › LiSTNR › Battery, select Optimized or Unrestricted.
- Disable Adaptive battery: Go to Settings › Battery and device care › Battery › More battery settings and turn off Adaptive battery.
- Disable Power saving mode: Go to Settings › Battery and device care › Battery and turn off Power saving mode.
Uninstall and Reinstall LiSTNR
If problems persist, uninstall and reinstall LiSTNR:
- iOS: Delete the app and reinstall from the App Store.
- Android: Uninstall and reinstall from the Google Play Store.

- Your phone/device model
- OS version

- Whether you were using mobile data or Wi-Fi
- Other apps running in the background
