The latest version of the LiSTNR app requires Android 10+ or iOS 16+.
If your device is running an older operating system that is no longer supported, the update won’t install.
Why did LiSTNR increase the minimum OS requirements?
To continue improving performance, stability and security, the app now uses newer technology that’s only supported on more recent operating systems.
This helps ensure a better and safer listening experience.
Can I still use the LiSTNR app on my current device?
If your device can’t update to the required operating system, your current version of the LiSTNR app may continue to work for now.
However, you may eventually experience issues or miss out on new features.
How do I check if my device can update its operating system?
iOS
Settings → General → Software Update
Android
Settings → System → Software Update
If an update is available, install it, then try updating the LiSTNR app again.
My device can’t upgrade to the required OS - what can I do?
You can still enjoy your favourite shows and stations via the LiSTNR website:

Will my account and favourites be affected?
No. Your account settings, favourites and listening preferences will not be affected.
You can access them on any compatible device or via the LiSTNR web player.
